I had my best friend Justin over to my house for a sleepover. A new person was there to hang out with us. I was getting along well with the new guy, but Justin didn’t like the new guy and kept acting annoyed and uninterested. I left the bedroom quickly to go do something in the backyard. It was nighttime and I saw that my house had caught a small fire. I had my phone with me and I tried to message Justin to get them out of the house but there were messages from him and I went to read them first. My phone battery was dying but I figured I could glance at his messages quickly. He had sent me a video where he was in the bathroom and had pooped, there was no toilet paper so he got the poop all over his hand, and he was shaking it off all over the counter. I was surprised and disgusted that he was wiping his dirty hand on the sink instead of using it, and decided to call the new guy friend to warn them about the fire. I saw a strange militant looking woman go into the house through the back door, with an evil smirk. The new guy didn’t answer his phone and my phone was at 1% battery, so I just ran back into the house entering through my bedroom window, and the new guy starts immediately telling me that Justin had just left, and new guy was panicking. I turn and see that there is a gunman holding a gun toward a different person’s head, a girl who was strapped to a chair. The new guy friend and I decide quickly to jump out of the window to get away, and before I hit the ground, I see that the entire neighborhood is on fire and being looted. Right before I hit the ground, I woke up.

There may be aspects of your friendship that you find off-putting or situations where you feel a need to distance yourself.

The chaos that ensues with the neighborhood being on fire and looted reflects feelings of instability and the fear that everything around you may unravel.
